2 Chronicles 2
- 1 所羅門決意爲耶和華之名建室、亦爲己建宮室、
- 2 乃簡負荷者七萬、入山鑿石者八萬、督工者三千六百、
- 3 所羅門遣人謂推羅王希蘭曰、昔爾運香柏於我父大衞、以建宮室而居、今請爾亦如是待我、
- 4 我將爲我上帝耶和華之名建室、區別以歸之、焚芳品之香於其前、恆供陳設之餅、每朝夕、安息日、月朔、及我上帝耶和華之節期、奉獻燔祭、此乃以色列之常例、
- 5 我所欲建之室甚大、蓋我上帝大於諸神、
- 6 然孰能爲之建室哉、天與天上之天、不足容之、我何人斯、而爲之建室乎、第焚香於其前而已、
- 7 今求遣一巧匠、精於金銀銅鐵、及紫絳藍三色之工、並善雕刻者、與我父大衞於猶大及耶路撒冷、所備之巧匠同在、
- 8 又求自利巴嫩、運香柏松木檀木於我、我知爾僕、在利巴嫩善於伐木、我僕可與之偕、
- 9 多備材木、我所將建之室、廣大奇異、
- 10 爾僕伐木、我必予以小麥二萬歌珥、麰麥二萬歌珥、酒二萬罷特、油二萬罷特、
- 11 推羅王希蘭覆書於所羅門曰、耶和華惠愛其民、故立爾爲其王、
- 12 又曰、造天地之耶和華、以色列之上帝、宜頌美焉、賜大衞王智慧之子、賦以穎悟聰明、爲耶和華建室、爲己建宮室、
- 13 今我遣一巧匠、有聰明者詣爾、卽我父老希蘭、
- 14 乃但支派婦人之子、其父推羅人、精於金銀銅鐵石木、及紫藍絳三色、與細枲之工、又善雕刻、能搆巧思、爲之備所、俾與爾之巧匠、及爾父我主大衞之巧匠同在、
- 15 我主所言之小麥麰麥、與酒及油、可運於僕、
- 16 我儕必伐木於利巴嫩、適爾所用、編之爲桴、浮海以達約帕、爾可運至耶路撒冷、○
- 17 所羅門核居以色列地之旅人、如其父大衞所爲、得十五萬三千六百人、
- 18 使七萬人負荷、八萬人入山鑿石、三千六百人督工、
