Alex Marini has been involved in sports for more than 30 years. He was playing three sports a year by his senior year in high school. After earning a degree in physical education, he has worked as an instructor and coach.

Dale Heisey has spent most of his adult life living in Costa Rica. He has a farm and dairy and pastors a church there, as well as addressing conservative Mennonite groups in the U.S. Sometimes he is more comfortable in Spanish than English and forgets words in English. Then he'll say the word in Spanish until someone in the congregation calls out the correct word in English.

In 1954 at the age of 22, Darrell and Louise and their baby David arrived as missionaries in the Belgian Congo, Africa. For ten years they lived in the deep jungles of the Belgian Congo as “jungle rats,” in a mud and stick house with dirt floors.
