2 Chronicles 16
- 1 亞撒三十六年、以色列王巴沙上攻猶大、建拉瑪、使人不得出入於猶大王亞撒所、
- 2 亞撒取耶和華室及王宮府庫之金銀、饋於居大馬色之亞蘭王便哈達曰、
- 3 爾我有約、如昔爾父與我父然、今我饋爾金銀、請廢爾與以色列王巴沙之約、使之去我、
- 4 便哈達從亞撒王之言、遣其軍長、攻以色列之邑、乃擊以雲、但、亞伯瑪音、及拿弗他利府庫之邑、
- 5 巴沙聞之、遂不建拉瑪、止其工作、
- 6 亞撒王率猶大衆、取巴沙建拉瑪之木石、以建迦巴與米斯巴、
- 7 是時先見哈拿尼詣猶大王亞撒、謂之曰、因爾恃亞蘭王、不恃爾之上帝耶和華、故亞蘭王之軍脫於爾手、
- 8 古實人、路比人、其軍非甚大乎、車騎非至多乎、因爾恃耶和華、彼則付於爾手、
- 9 蓋耶和華之目遍及天下、凡專心向之者、必顯其力以助之、爾所行者愚也、今而後爾必有戰事、
- 10 亞撒因此怒先見、囚之於獄、斯時又虐民中數人、
- 11 亞撒事蹟之始末、載於猶大以色列列王紀、
- 12 亞撒爲王三十九年、足疾甚劇、遘疾時、不求耶和華、而求醫士、
- 13 在位四十一年而卒、與列祖偕眠、
- 14 葬於大衞城、在己所鑿之墓、置於牀、充以諸香品、卽依調香法所製者、又爲之焚物甚多、
