2 Chronicles 1
- 1 大衞子所羅門國位鞏固、其上帝耶和華偕之、使之甚爲昌大、
- 2 所羅門召以色列衆、千夫長、百夫長、士師、及以色列牧伯族長、咸至、
- 3 所羅門與會衆、往基遍之崇邱、蓋上帝之會幕在彼、卽耶和華僕摩西在曠野所造者、
- 4 惟上帝之匱、大衞已自基列耶琳、舁至特備之所、因大衞在耶路撒冷爲之張幕、
- 5 昔戶珥孫、烏利子比撒列所製之銅壇、亦在基遍、於耶和華幕前、所羅門與會衆詣之、
- 6 所羅門在耶和華會幕前之銅壇、獻千牲爲燔祭、○
- 7 是夕上帝見於所羅門、謂之曰、所欲我賜爾者、爾其求之、
- 8 所羅門曰、爾施鴻慈於我父大衞、使我繼之爲王、
- 9 耶和華上帝歟、今求爾踐所許我父大衞之言、斯民衆多、如地之塵、而爾立我爲其王、
- 10 祈賜我聰明智慧、使於民前出入、斯民若是之多、孰能聽其訟乎、
- 11 上帝諭所羅門曰、我立爾爲我民之王、爾有此心、不求資財、富有、尊榮、壽考、亦不求滅敵之命、惟求聰明智慧、能聽我民之訟、
- 12 我以聰明智慧錫爾、更賜資財、富有尊榮、爾前之王、未有若此、爾後之王、亦未有若此者也、
- 13 所羅門自基遍崇邱之會幕前、至耶路撒冷、治以色列、○
- 14 所羅門集車騎、有車一千四百、騎兵一萬二千、置於屯車之邑、並王都耶路撒冷、
- 15 王使金銀在耶路撒冷多如石、香柏多如谷中之桑、
- 16 所羅門之馬、來自埃及、乃王之商賈、依各羣之值而購者、
- 17 其購自埃及之車、每乘值銀六百舍客勒、每馬值銀一百五十舍客勒、赫族諸王、與亞蘭諸王、亦依其值、由此商賈而購之、
