2 Chronicles 10
- 1 羅波安往示劍、因以色列衆至彼、欲立之爲王、
- 2 昔尼八子耶羅波安避所羅門王、遁於埃及居焉、旣聞此事、則返、
- 3 民衆遣人招之、遂與以色列衆、來見羅波安曰、
- 4 爾父使我儕負軛艱苦、爾其輕爾父之重軛、與艱苦之役事、我則服事爾、
- 5 曰、越三日、復來見我、民乃去、
- 6 其父所羅門存日、有侍其前之耆老、羅波安王與之議曰、汝有何謀、以答斯民、
- 7 僉曰、如爾恩待斯民、使其心悅、答以善言、則必永爲爾僕、
- 8 惟王違棄耆老之謀、與侍其前、偕己同長之少者謀、
- 9 曰、斯民謂我云、爾父加我之軛、求爾輕之、汝有何謀、以答斯民、
- 10 偕彼同長之少者曰、斯民謂爾云、爾父使我負重軛、求爲我輕之、可答之曰、我之小指、巨於我父之腰、
- 11 我父使爾負重軛、我必益之、我父責爾以鞭、我則責爾以蠍、
- 12 越三日、耶羅波安與民衆、咸詣羅波安、循王所命、越三日復來見我之言、
- 13 羅波安王以厲詞答之、違棄耆老之謀、
- 14 依少者之謀、告之曰、我父使爾負重軛、我必益之、我父責爾以鞭、我則責爾以蠍、
- 15 王不聽民所求、是事由於上帝、以應耶和華藉示羅人亞希雅、告尼八子耶羅波安之言、
- 16 以色列衆見王不聽、則謂王曰、我與大衞何與、我於耶西子無業、以色列人歟、爾其歸幕、大衞家歟、爾其自顧、以色列人遂歸其幕、
- 17 惟居猶大諸邑之以色列人、羅波安爲其王、
- 18 羅波安王遣司力役之哈多蘭至以色列人、以色列人以石擊斃之、羅波安王亟登車、遁於耶路撒冷、
- 19 於是以色列人叛大衞家、至於今日、
