Parental Love

Though I speak the word of God to my children,
and have not love, I am a sounding brass.

Though I spank my children with consistent diligence,
and have not love, I am nothing.

If I have all the right standards, and enforce them religiously,
and separate my family from all evil,
and have not love, it profiteth me nothing.

Though I have made many sacrifices for my children,
if I have not love, it profiteth me nothing.

Love suffereth long, and is kind to the children.
Love is not easily provoked by the children.
Love beareth all things, and believeth all things for the children.
Love hopeth all things, and endureth all things for the children.
Love never fails.
