- 1 耶和華又諭約伯曰、
- 2 好駁折者、可與全能者爭論乎、與上帝辯者、尚其答之、
- 3 約伯對耶和華曰、
- 4 我乃微賤、何以答爾、惟以手掩口耳、
- 5 我言之、一而再、不復答之、不復贅矣、
- 6 耶和華自旋風中、諭約伯曰、
- 7 束爾腰、如丈夫、我問爾、其答我、
- 8 爾欲廢我所擬、罪我以義己乎、
- 9 爾有臂若上帝乎、能如彼之發雷乎、
- 10 爾其以光耀威嚴自飾、以尊榮赫奕自衣、
- 11 傾爾滿溢之怒、觀矜高者而卑之、
- 12 視驕傲者而降之、踐惡人於其所、
- 13 同匿之於塵土、蒙其面於幽冥、
- 14 我則認爾能以右手自救、
- 15 試觀河馬、齧草若牛、我造爾、亦造彼、
- 16 其力在腰脊、其能在腹筋、
- 17 尾搖若香柏、骽筋相連絡、
- 18 骨如銅管、肋如鐵幹、
- 19 上帝所造、此物爲最、惟造之者、賜以鋒刃、
- 20 其食出於山邱、百獸優游之處、
- 21 伏於蓮下、臥於水澤蘆中、
- 22 蓮蔭覆之、溪柳環之、
- 23 河水漲溢、彼不戰慄、約但漲及其口、彼仍自若、
- 24 當其儆備之時、孰能捕之、以鉤貫其鼻乎、
