- 1 約伯自視爲義、三人不復答之、
- 2 有以利戶者、布西人、蘭族、巴拉迦之子也、因約伯義己、而不義上帝、則怒、
- 3 且怒三友、無言以答約伯、而猶罪之、
- 4 彼以三友年長於己、俟其言竟、
- 5 見其無詞以對、則怒、
- 6 曰、我幼爾耄、故退讓、不敢陳我意、
- 7 自謂歷日多者、當講論、享年永者、當以智誨人、
- 8 然人衷有神、全能者之氣、畀以聰明、
- 9 尊者不盡有智、老者不盡明義、
- 10 故我曰、試聽我言、我亦陳我意、
- 11 我俟爾言、傾聽爾辯、待爾窮究所欲言者、
- 12 細察爾中、無人折服約伯、而答其言、
- 13 勿謂我儕得見智慧、惟上帝能折之、人則不能、
- 14 約伯非與我辯、我亦不以爾言答之、
- 15 彼皆愕然、不復應對、莫措一辭、
- 16 旣皆緘默、靜立無言、則我猶復待乎、
- 17 亦盡我分而辯、指陳己意、
- 18 我言盈懷、我衷之神激我、
- 19 我腹如滿於酒、無隙可出、有若新囊、幾至破裂、
- 20 我必言之乃可舒、亦必啟口以應答、
- 21 請勿使我徇情、我不阿諛、
- 22 蓋我不知阿諛、若然、造我者必速滅我、
