- 1 今也年少於我者姍笑我、若輩之父、我曾藐視、不欲列之於守羊之犬中、
- 2 其壯年之氣旣衰、其手之力、於我何益、
- 3 彼因匱乏飢餓、形軀消瘦、齧燥土於荒涼幽暗之中、
- 4 採藜藿於叢林、取羅騰之根以爲食、
- 5 爲人所逐、人喊其後、若喊寇賊、
- 6 致居幽谷、在於土穴巖窟、
- 7 呼於叢林之中、集於荊棘之下、
- 8 原爲愚陋之裔、爰被撻逐、離其故土、
- 9 今我爲其歌詞、作其話柄、
- 10 憎我遠我、唾我面、而不自禁、
- 11 蓋彼釋其繩索、加我以苦、脫其羈勒、在於我前、
- 12 下流之輩、起於我右、推移我足、興築滅我之路、
- 13 無與爲伍之人、毀我之道、速我之禍、
- 14 其來也、如由巨缺、在毀壞之間、軫轉於我身、
- 15 威烈反擊我躬、驅逐我榮如風、我福如雲之逝、
- 16 我魂頹敗、患難之日執我、
- 17 夜間我骨被刺、痛楚齧我無已、
- 18 因上帝之大力、我衣敝汚、拘束我身、如領束項、
- 19 彼擲我於泥中、我則如塵如灰、
- 20 我籲爾、而爾弗聽、我起立、而爾注視、
- 21 爾之於我、轉爲殘酷、以手力迫我、
- 22 舉我使乘狂風、消滅我於巨暴、
- 23 我知爾必致我於死、入爲羣生所定之室、
- 24 然人顚仆、豈不伸手、遇災豈不呼援、
- 25 人遭難、我豈非爲之哭泣、人貧乏、我豈非爲之憂心、
- 26 我望福祉、而禍害至、我待光明、而幽暗來、
- 27 中心煩擾不安、患難之日、臨及我身、
- 28 我膚黧黑、非因日暴、立於會中、呼號求助、
- 29 我與野犬爲弟兄、與鴕鳥爲伴侶、
- 30 我膚旣黑而脫、我骨因熱而焦、
- 31 我琴成悲聲、我簫發哀響、
