- 1 約伯曰、
- 2 爾曹爲民、無疑也、智慧將與爾偕亡、
- 3 然我亦有聰明、不亞於爾、所言之事、誰不知之、
- 4 我籲上帝、蒙其俞允、而貽笑於鄰里、義人完人、乃爲笑柄、
- 5 安居者中存輕視患難之意、足躓者則遇之、
- 6 寇賊之幕、乃獲亨通、以己手爲神、激上帝怒者、竟享穩固、
- 7 試問走獸、彼必訓爾、試問飛鳥、亦必告爾、
- 8 與地言之、彼必誨爾、海中鱗族、亦必語爾、
- 9 凡此、誰不知乃耶和華所爲、
- 10 動物之生、世人之氣、悉在其手、
- 11 耳豈非辨言、如口之嘗食乎、
- 12 年老者有智慧、壽高者有聰明、
- 13 在上帝有智慧能力、亦有謀畧聰明、
- 14 毀之不得復建、錮人莫之能釋、
- 15 止水則水涸、出之則地淹、
- 16 在彼具能力、有智慧、受惑與惑人者、皆其所轄、
- 17 褫謀夫、攜之去、使士師爲愚、
- 18 釋君王之所繫、轉以索繫其腰、
- 19 褫祭司、攜之去、使強者傾覆、
- 20 廢忠誠者之才辯、奪年老者之知識、
- 21 被王侯以羞恥、釋倔強者之帶、
- 22 自暗中顯彼隱祕、俾陰翳著於光明、
- 23 使列邦時興時滅、或廓之、或虜之、
- 24 奪諸國民長之聰明、使其流離於無路之荒野、
- 25 若輩無光、暗中摸索、以致蹁躚若醉、
