- 1 約伯曰、
- 2 今我之愬、謂爲悖逆、而所受之譴責、甚於我之呻吟、
- 3 深願知於何處尋之、詣乎其位、
- 4 以我之獄、陳於其前、辨白之詞、充乎我口、
- 5 必得知其所答、悉其所言、
- 6 彼豈以其大能與我爭乎、非也、必俞允我、
- 7 在彼、正人可與之辯、則我得永脫於鞫者、
- 8 我行於前、彼不在焉、我退於後、亦不見之、
- 9 彼造作於左、我不能覩、彼隱匿於右、我不克覯、
- 10 惟彼知我行徑、旣經試鍊、我必出如精金、
- 11 我足謹履其步武、我守其道而不離、
- 12 其脣所出之命、我未遺棄、保存其口之言、重於所需之食、
- 13 惟其志維一、誰能易之、其心所欲、則必行之、
- 14 爲我所定、彼必成之、如是之事、彼多有之、
- 15 故我在其前而驚惶、思之則恐懼、
- 16 上帝使我心頹敗、全能者使我驚駭、
- 17 我之恐懼、非因幽暗、非因昏黑蔽我面也、
