Matthew 4
- 1 維時、聖神導耶穌適野、見試於魔、
- 2 禁食四十晝夜、則飢、
- 3 試者進曰、爾若上帝子、可命此石爲餅、
- 4 曰、記有之、人之生也、不第恃餅、惟恃上帝所出之言、
- 5 魔遂攜之入聖京、立之於殿頂、
- 6 曰、爾若上帝子、可投下、記有之、彼將命其使以手扶爾、免足觸石、
- 7 耶穌曰、記亦有之、勿試主爾之上帝、
- 8 魔復攜之陟最高之山、以世上諸國及其榮華示之、
- 9 曰、若俯伏拜我、悉以予爾、
- 10 耶穌曰、撒但退、記有之、當拜主爾之上帝、而獨事之、
- 11 於是魔去之、天使至而服事焉、○
- 12 耶穌聞約翰下獄、乃退往加利利、
- 13 又去拿撒勒、至迦百農居焉、其地瀕海、在西布倫拿弗他利境、
- 14 應先知以賽亞所言云、
- 15 沿海之西布倫拿弗他利地、卽約但外異邦之加利利、
- 16 其處於暗之民、已見大光、處於死地陰翳者、有光昇及之、
- 17 自是耶穌始宣言曰、爾宜改悔、天國邇矣、○
- 18 耶穌經行加利利海濱、見兄弟二人、乃西門稱彼得者、與其弟安得烈、施網於海、蓋漁者也、
- 19 謂之曰、從我、我將使爾爲漁人者焉、
- 20 卽舍網從之、
- 21 由此而前、又見兄弟二人、乃西庇太之子雅各、與其弟約翰、偕父在舟補網、招之、
- 22 卽舍舟別父而從焉、○
- 23 耶穌周行加利利、在諸會堂訓誨、宣天國福音、醫庶民疾病、
- 24 聲名洋溢於叙利亞、人攜諸負病、疾苦、患鬼、癲癇、癱瘓者、就之、悉醫焉、
- 25 時、有衆自加利利、低加波利、耶路撒冷、猶太、及約但外從之、
