以赛亚书 31
- 1 那些下埃及求帮助,倚靠马匹,倚靠众多战车,依靠十分强壮的马兵,却不仰望以色列的圣者,也不求问耶和华的,有祸了!
- 2 耶和华是智慧的,他必降下灾祸,决不收回自己的话,却要起来攻击作恶者之家,又攻击那些助人作孽的。
- 3 埃及人是人,并不是 神;他们的马匹是血肉,并不是灵;耶和华一伸手,那帮助人的就绊倒,那受帮助的也必仆倒,并且一同灭亡。
- 4 因为耶和华对我这样说:“狮子和少壮狮子怎样因捕获猎物而咆哮,虽然召集了许多的牧人来攻击它们,它们并不因他们的声音而惊慌,也不因他们的喧嚷而蹲伏;照样,万军之耶和华必降临在锡安山和它的冈陵上争战。”
- 5 雀鸟怎样搧翅护雏,万军之耶和华也必照样保护耶路撒冷,他必保护和拯救,他必越过和搭救。
- 6 以色列人哪!你们是要回转,归向那曾被你们彻底背弃的耶和华。
- 7 到那日,各人都必拋弃自己的金偶像和银偶像,就是你们亲手所做,把自己陷在罪中的。
- 8 亚述人必倒在刀下,不是人的刀;必有刀把他们吞灭,也不是人的刀。他们必不能逃避刀剑,他们的年轻人必作苦工。
- 9 他们的磐石必因惊慌而挪去,他们的领袖必因见到以色列的旗帜而惊惶。这是那有火在锡安,有炉在耶路撒冷的耶和华说的。
