以赛亚书 34
- 1 列国啊，要近前来听！众民哪，要留心听！地和地上所充满的，世界和其中所出的一切，都要听！
- 2 因为耶和华向列国发怒，向他们所有的军队发烈怒，要把他们灭尽，要把他们交出来受屠杀。
- 3 他们被杀的必被拋弃在外面，尸体的臭气上腾，众山都被他们的血所溶化。
- 4 天上的万象都必消残；天也像书卷一般被卷起，所有星宿也必衰残，像葡萄树的叶子衰残一样，又像无花果树的叶子凋落一样。
- 5 因为我的刀在天上已经喝足了，看哪！它要落在以东，以及我决定要灭绝的民身上，为要施行审判。
- 6 耶和华的刀染满了血，这刀因脂肪、羊羔和公山羊的血，以及公绵羊腰子的脂肪而滋润，因为耶和华在波斯拉有杀牲献祭的事，在以东地有大屠杀。
- 7 野牛、牛犊与壮牛要与他们一同倒下，他们的地喝足了血，他们的尘土因脂肪而肥润。
- 8 因为耶和华有报仇的日子，为锡安的案件，必有报应之年。
- 9 以东的河水都要变成石油，它的尘土必变成硫磺，它的地土要变成烧着的石油，
- 10 昼夜不熄，烟气永远上腾，并且必世世代代变为荒凉，永永远远无人经过。
- 11 但鹈鹕与箭猪要占据那地，猫头鹰和乌鸦必住在其中。耶和华必把空虚的准绳、混沌的线铊，拉在其上。
- 12 它的显贵一个也没有了，以致不能称为一国，所有的领袖也没有了。
- 13 以东的宫殿必长荆棘，它的堡垒必长蒺藜和刺草；它要作野狗的住处，作鸵鸟的居所。
- 14 旷野的走兽必与豺狼相遇，野山羊必呼喊它的同伴；连夜间的怪物也必在那里栖身，为自己寻找休息的地方。
- 15 箭蛇要在那里筑窝、下蛋、孵蛋，并且聚子在它的阴影下；鹞鹰也各与自己的伴偶，聚集在那里。
- 16 你们要查考和阅读耶和华的书卷；这些都无一缺少，也没有一个是没有伴偶的，因为他的口已吩咐了，他的灵已把它们聚集。
- 17 他也为它们抽签，他的手用准绳给它们分地；它们必永远得着那地，也要世世代代住在其中。
