以赛亚书 31
- 1 祸哉！那些下埃及求帮助的，是因仗赖马匹，倚靠甚多的车辆，并倚靠强壮的马兵，却不仰望以色列的圣者，也不求问耶和华。
- 2 其实，耶和华有智慧；他必降灾祸，并不反悔自己的话，却要兴起攻击那作恶之家，又攻击那作孽帮助人的。
- 3 埃及人不过是人，并不是 神；他们的马不过是血肉，并不是灵。耶和华一伸手，那帮助人的必绊跌，那受帮助的也必跌倒，都一同灭亡。
- 4 耶和华对我如此说：狮子和少壮狮子护食咆哮，就是喊许多牧人来攻击它，它总不因他们的声音惊惶，也不因他们的喧哗缩伏。如此，万军之耶和华也必降临在锡安山冈上争战。
- 5 雀鸟怎样搧翅覆雏，万军之耶和华也要照样保护耶路撒冷。他必保护拯救，要越门保守。
- 6 以色列人哪，你们深深地悖逆耶和华，现今要归向他。
- 7 到那日，各人必将他金偶像银偶像，就是亲手所造、陷自己在罪中的，都抛弃了。
- 8 亚述人必倒在刀下，并非人的刀；有刀要将他吞灭，并非人的刀。他必逃避这刀；他的少年人必成为服苦的。
- 9 他的磐石必因惊吓挪去；他的首领必因大旗惊惶。这是那有火在锡安、有炉在耶路撒冷的耶和华说的。
