約伯記 23
- 1 約伯 回答 說：
- 2 如今 我的哀告 還算為悖逆；我的責罰 比 我的唉哼 還重。
- 3 惟 願 我能知道 在哪裡可以尋見 神，能到 他的臺前，
- 4 我就在他面前 將我的案件 陳明，滿 口 辯白。
- 5 我必知道 他回答 我的言語，明白 他向我 所說 的話。
- 6 他豈用大 能 與我 爭辯嗎？必不這樣！他 必 理會 我。
- 7 在他那裡 正直人 可以與他 辯論；這樣，我必永遠 脫離 那審判我的。
- 8 只是，我往前 行，他不在那裡，往後退，也不能 見 他。
- 9 他在左邊 行事，我卻不能 看見，在右邊 隱藏，我也不能 見他。
- 10 然而 他知道 我 所行的路；他試煉我之後，我必 如精金。
- 11 我腳 追隨 他的步履；我謹守 他的道，並不 偏離。
- 12 他嘴唇 的命令，我未曾 背棄；我看重 他口中 的言語，過於我需用的飲食。
- 13 只是他 心志已定，誰 能使他轉意呢？他心裡 所願的，就行出來。
- 14 他向我所定的，就必 做成；這類的事 他還有 許多。
- 15 所以 我在他面前 驚惶；我思念 這事便懼怕 他。
- 16 神 使我 喪膽；全能者 使我驚惶。
- 17 我的恐懼 不是 因為 黑暗，也不是因為幽暗 蒙蔽 我的臉。
