2 Corinthians 7
- 1 然れば我至愛なる者よ、我等此御約束を得て己を霊肉の凡ての穢より潔め、神を畏れ奉りて聖となる事を全うすべし。
- 2 我等を承容れよ、我等は誰をも害せず、誰をも傷はず、誰をも掠めし事なし。
- 3 我が斯の如く言ふは汝等を咎めんとには非ず、其は生死を倶にすべく汝等我等の心に在りとは我が既に言ひたる所なればなり。
- 4 我汝等を信用する事大いにして、汝等を以て誇とする事大いなり。我等が一切の患難の中に於て、我は慰に満ち喜に堪へず。
- 5 蓋マケドニアに至りし時、我等の肉身は聊も安き事なく、一切の患難に遇ひ、外には争、内には懼ありき。
- 6 然れど謙る人々を慰め給ふ神は、チトの來着に由りて我等を慰め給へり。
- 7 唯其來着に由りて耳ならず、尚彼が汝等の中に慰められし慰を以てせり。即ち汝等の我を慕ふ事、其歎、其熱心を我等に告げしかば、我喜は更に大いなりき。
- 8 蓋我書簡を以て汝等を悲ましめたれども、之を後悔せず、假令其書簡が暫しにても汝等を悲ましめしを見て後悔したる事ありとも、
- 9 今は喜べり。是汝等の悲みし故に非ず、悲みて改心するに至りたる故なり。汝等の悲みしは神に順ひしものなれば、我等より何等の損害をも受けざるなり。
- 10 蓋神に順ひての悲は、悔なき救霊に至るべき改心を生じ、世間の悲は死を生ず。
- 11 看よ汝等が神に順ひて悲みしは、如何ばかりの奮發、而も弁駁、而も憤激、而も恐怖、而も愛慕、而も熱心、而も罪を責むる事を汝等の中に生じたるかを。汝等は萬事の上に此件に就きて穢に染まざる事を顕せり。
- 12 然れば我が汝等に書遣りしは、害を為しし人の為に非ず、害を受けし人の為にも非ず、我等が汝等に對して神の御前に有てる奮發を顕さん為なり。
- 13 斯て我等は慰を得、慰を得たる上に尚チトの喜によりて一層喜べり。其は彼の精神、汝等一同に由りて安んぜられたればなり。
- 14 我曾て彼の前に汝等を以て誇とせしも耻とする所なく、我等が汝等に語りし所の皆眞なりし如く、チトの前に誇りし事も亦眞となれり。
- 15 彼は汝等一同の從順と恐慄きつつ己を歓迎したる態とを思出して、其腸の汝等に向へる事更に深し、
- 16 我萬事につけて汝等を信用するを喜ぶ。
