2 Corinthians 10
- 1 面前に居る時は汝等の中に謙りて、居らざる時は汝等に對して敢て大胆なる我パウロ、自らキリストの柔和と謙遜とを以て汝等に希ふ。
- 2 或人々は我等を恰も肉に從ひて歩むが如く思ふが故に、我が汝等に願ふ所は、其處に居りて彼の思はるる大胆を以て敢て此の人々に對はざらん事是なり。
- 3 蓋我等肉に於て歩むと雖も、肉に從ひて戰ふには非ず。
- 4 即ち我等の戰の武器は肉的に非ずして、城塞を破るほど神によりて強きなり。之を以て謀計と、
- 5 神の智識に逆らひて驕る計畧と堡塁とを悉く壊し、凡ての理性を虜にしてキリストに服從せしむ。
- 6 又汝等の服從完全になりたらん時、一切の悖逆を罰せんとす。
- 7 外面の事を看よ、人若し自らキリストのものなりと思はば、又省みて自らキリストのものとなるが如く、我等も亦然りと考ふべし。
- 8 蓋假令我等の権力、即ち主が汝等を破る為ならで立つる為に、我等に賜ひたる権力に就きて愈誇るとも、我は赤面せざるべし。
- 9 但我書簡を以て汝等を威すと思はれざらん為、
- 10 ――即ち彼等は云ふ、其書簡こそ厳しく且強けれ、面前には身は弱く談話は拙しと、――
- 11 斯の如き人は我等が居らざる時書簡によりて語るが如く、居る時も亦實際に然りと覚悟せざるべからず。
- 12 蓋己を立つる人々には、我等身を並べ又は比ぶる事を敢てせず、彼等は己を以て己を度り、己に己を比べて悟らざる者なり。
- 13 我等は度外に誇らず、神の我等に度りて賜ひたる分界の度によりて誇る、其度は汝等にまで及べる事即ち是なり。
- 14 其は汝等まで届かざるものの如く、度を超えて身を延ばしたるに非ずして、實にキリストの福音を以て汝等に及びたればなり。
- 15 我等は他人の働を以て度外に誇らず、唯汝等が信仰の彌増すに随ひて、己が分界に應じて汝等の中に益大いならん事を希望し、
- 16 又既に準備せられたる他人の分界に誇らずして、尚汝等を踰えて他にも福音を宣べん事を希望す。
- 17 誇る人は宜しく主によりて誇るべし、
- 18 其は可とせらるる者は、己を立つる人に非ずして、主の立て給ふ所の人なればなり。
