箴言 13
- 1 智慧的兒子聽從父親的教訓，好譏笑人的不聽責備。
- 2 人因口所結的果子，必得嘗美物，奸詐人的慾望卻是強暴。
- 3 謹慎口舌的，可保性命；口沒遮攔的，自取滅亡。
- 4 懶惰人渴求，卻一無所得；殷勤人必得豐裕。
- 5 義人恨惡虛假，惡人行事，遺臭貽羞。
- 6 正義護衛行為完全的人；邪惡卻使犯罪的人傾覆。
- 7 有人自充富足，卻一無所有；有人假裝貧窮，財物卻極多。
- 8 人的財富是他性命的贖價，窮人卻聽不見威嚇的話。
- 9 義人的光必明亮，惡人的燈必熄滅。
- 10 傲慢只能引起爭端；接受勸告的卻有智慧。
- 11 不勞而獲的財物，必快減少；慢慢積蓄的，必然增多。
- 12 所盼望的遲延未得，令人心憂；所願的來到，好比生命樹。
- 13 藐視訓言的，必自取滅亡；敬畏誡命的，必得善報。
- 14 智慧人的訓誨是生命的泉源，能使人避開死亡的網羅。
- 15 聰穎的明慧使人蒙恩，奸詐人的道路崎嶇難行。
- 16 精明的人都按知識行事，愚昧人卻顯露自己的愚妄。
- 17 奸惡的使者，必陷在禍患裡（“必陷在禍患裡”或譯：“必使人陷在禍患裡”）；忠心的使臣，使人復原。
- 18 輕忽管教的，必致窮乏受辱；看重責備的，必得尊榮。
- 19 所願的成功，使人心裡甘甜；遠離惡事，卻為愚昧人憎惡。
- 20 與智慧人同行的，必得智慧；與愚昧人為友的，必受虧損。
- 21 禍患追趕罪人，義人必得善報。
- 22 善人給子孫留下產業，罪人的財富，卻是為義人積藏。
- 23 窮人的耕地可產大量糧食，卻因不義都被摧毀了。
- 24 不用杖責打兒子的，是恨惡他；愛兒子的，必對他勤加管教。
- 25 義人必吃得飽足，惡人卻空著肚子。
