箴言 13
- 1 智慧的兒子聽從父親的教訓,好譏笑人的不聽責備。
- 2 人因口所結的果子,必得嘗美物,奸詐人的慾望卻是強暴。
- 3 謹慎口舌的,可保性命;口沒遮攔的,自取滅亡。
- 4 懶惰人渴求,卻一無所得;殷勤人必得豐裕。
- 5 義人恨惡虛假,惡人行事,遺臭貽羞。
- 6 正義護衛行為完全的人;邪惡卻使犯罪的人傾覆。
- 7 有人自充富足,卻一無所有;有人假裝貧窮,財物卻極多。
- 8 人的財富是他性命的贖價,窮人卻聽不見威嚇的話。
- 9 義人的光必明亮,惡人的燈必熄滅。
- 10 傲慢只能引起爭端;接受勸告的卻有智慧。
- 11 不勞而獲的財物,必快減少;慢慢積蓄的,必然增多。
- 12 所盼望的遲延未得,令人心憂;所願的來到,好比生命樹。
- 13 藐視訓言的,必自取滅亡;敬畏誡命的,必得善報。
- 14 智慧人的訓誨是生命的泉源,能使人避開死亡的網羅。
- 15 聰穎的明慧使人蒙恩,奸詐人的道路崎嶇難行。
- 16 精明的人都按知識行事,愚昧人卻顯露自己的愚妄。
- 17 奸惡的使者,必陷在禍患裡(“必陷在禍患裡”或譯:“必使人陷在禍患裡”);忠心的使臣,使人復原。
- 18 輕忽管教的,必致窮乏受辱;看重責備的,必得尊榮。
- 19 所願的成功,使人心裡甘甜;遠離惡事,卻為愚昧人憎惡。
- 20 與智慧人同行的,必得智慧;與愚昧人為友的,必受虧損。
- 21 禍患追趕罪人,義人必得善報。
- 22 善人給子孫留下產業,罪人的財富,卻是為義人積藏。
- 23 窮人的耕地可產大量糧食,卻因不義都被摧毀了。
- 24 不用杖責打兒子的,是恨惡他;愛兒子的,必對他勤加管教。
- 25 義人必吃得飽足,惡人卻空著肚子。
