箴言 19
- 1 行為完全的窮人,勝過說話欺詐的愚昧人。
- 2 一個人沒有知識是不好的,腳步匆忙的,難免失足。
- 3 人的愚妄毀滅自己的道路;他的心卻惱怒耶和華。
- 4 財富使朋友增多,但窮人連他的一個朋友也與他分離。
- 5 作假見證的必難免受懲罰;吐出謊言的必不能逃脫。
- 6 尊貴的人,很多人求他的情面;慷慨施贈的,人人都作他的朋友。
- 7 貧窮人的兄弟都恨他;他的朋友更疏遠他。雖然他多多懇求他們,他們卻不理會。
- 8 得著智慧的,愛惜自己的性命;保持明達的,必得益處。
- 9 作假見證的必難免受懲罰;吐出謊言的終必滅亡。
- 10 愚昧人生活奢侈是不相稱的,何況奴僕管轄領袖呢!
- 11 人的明慧使他不輕易動怒;寬恕別人過失的,是自己的榮耀。
- 12 王的忿怒,好像獅子的吼叫,他的恩寵,如同草上的朝露。
- 13 愚昧的兒子是父親的禍患,吵鬧的妻子好像雨水不停地滴漏。
- 14 房屋與財富是祖宗遺留的產業;唯有明慧的妻子是耶和華所賜的。
- 15 懶惰使人沉睡,閒懶的人必受飢餓。
- 16 謹守誡命的,保全自己的性命;輕忽自己道路的,必致死亡。
- 17 恩待窮人的,等於借錢給耶和華;他所行的,耶和華必償還。
- 18 趁著還有指望的時候,要管教你的兒子;不可存心任他死亡。
- 19 常發烈怒的人,必須受罰,如果你幫助他,就必須一而再幫助他。
- 20 你要聽勸告,受管教,好使你將來作個有智慧的人。
- 21 人心裡的謀算很多,唯有耶和華的計劃能實現。
- 22 人所渴望的,就是忠誠;作窮人比作撒謊的人還好。
- 23 敬畏耶和華的,得著生命;他必安居知足,不會遭受禍患。
- 24 懶惰人把手放在盤子裡,連拿食物送回口邊,也不願意。
- 25 責打好譏笑人的,愚蒙人就會變得精明;責備聰明人,他就會明白知識。
- 26 虐待父親,趕走母親的,是貽羞可恥的兒子。
- 27 我兒,你若是停止聽受管教,就會偏離知識的言語。
- 28 無賴作見證,嘲笑公平,惡人的口,吞吃罪孽。
- 29 刑罰是為好譏笑人的預備的,鞭打是為愚昧人的背預備的。
