箴言 18
- 1 離群獨處的,只顧自己的心願;他抗拒一切大智慧。
- 2 愚昧人不喜歡明白事理,只喜歡顯露自己的心意。
- 3 惡人來,也帶來藐視;羞恥的事也引致羞辱。
- 4 人口中的言語如同深水,智慧的泉源好像湧流的河水。
- 5 在審判時,偏袒惡人、屈枉義人,是不對的。
- 6 愚昧人的嘴引起紛爭,他的口招來責打。
- 7 愚昧人的口自取滅亡,他的嘴唇是自己性命的網羅。
- 8 搬弄是非的人的言語,如同美食,深入人的臟腑。
- 9 工作懶惰的,是滅亡者的兄弟。
- 10 耶和華的名是堅固的高臺,義人投奔,就得安全。
- 11 富翁的財物是他們的堅城;在他們的想像中,有如高牆。
- 12 滅亡以先,人心高傲;尊榮以先,必有謙卑。
- 13 不先聆聽就回答的,這就是他的愚妄和羞辱。
- 14 人的心靈能忍受疾病,心靈憂鬱,誰能承受呢?
- 15 聰明人的心獲得知識;智慧人的耳朵尋求知識。
- 16 人的禮物能為他開路,引他到大人物面前。
- 17 首先陳述情由的,似乎有理,等他的鄰舍來到,才可以查明實情。
- 18 抽籤能止息紛爭,排解二強之間的糾紛。
- 19 觸怒兄弟,要勸他和解,比取堅城還難;這樣的紛爭,如同堡壘的門閂。
- 20 人口中所結的果子,必使自己的肚腹飽足;他嘴裡所出的,必使他飽足。
- 21 生與死都在舌頭的權下;愛把弄這權柄的,必自食其果。
- 22 覓得賢妻的,就是覓得幸福,也是蒙了耶和華的恩寵。
- 23 窮人乞恩哀求,財主卻聲色俱厲地回答。
- 24 朋友眾多的人,終必彼此破裂,但有一位朋友,比兄弟更親密。
