以賽亞書 34
- 1 列國啊，要近前來聽！眾民哪，要留心聽！地和地上所充滿的，世界和其中所出的一切，都要聽！
- 2 因為耶和華向列國發怒，向他們所有的軍隊發烈怒，要把他們滅盡，要把他們交出來受屠殺。
- 3 他們被殺的必被拋棄在外面，屍體的臭氣上騰，眾山都被他們的血所溶化。
- 4 天上的萬象都必消殘；天也像書卷一般被捲起，所有星宿也必衰殘，像葡萄樹的葉子衰殘一樣，又像無花果樹的葉子凋落一樣。
- 5 因為我的刀在天上已經喝足了，看哪！它要落在以東，以及我決定要滅絕的民身上，為要施行審判。
- 6 耶和華的刀染滿了血，這刀因脂肪、羊羔和公山羊的血，以及公綿羊腰子的脂肪而滋潤，因為耶和華在波斯拉有殺牲獻祭的事，在以東地有大屠殺。
- 7 野牛、牛犢與壯牛要與他們一同倒下，他們的地喝足了血，他們的塵土因脂肪而肥潤。
- 8 因為耶和華有報仇的日子，為錫安的案件，必有報應之年。
- 9 以東的河水都要變成石油，它的塵土必變成硫磺，它的地土要變成燒著的石油，
- 10 晝夜不熄，煙氣永遠上騰，並且必世世代代變為荒涼，永永遠遠無人經過。
- 11 但鵜鶘與箭豬要佔據那地，貓頭鷹和烏鴉必住在其中。耶和華必把空虛的準繩、混沌的線鉈，拉在其上。
- 12 它的顯貴一個也沒有了，以致不能稱為一國，所有的領袖也沒有了。
- 13 以東的宮殿必長荊棘，它的堡壘必長蒺藜和刺草；它要作野狗的住處，作鴕鳥的居所。
- 14 曠野的走獸必與豺狼相遇，野山羊必呼喊牠的同伴；連夜間的怪物也必在那裡棲身，為自己尋找休息的地方。
- 15 箭蛇要在那裡築窩、下蛋、孵蛋，並且聚子在牠的陰影下；鷂鷹也各與自己的伴偶，聚集在那裡。
- 16 你們要查考和閱讀耶和華的書卷；這些都無一缺少，也沒有一個是沒有伴偶的，因為他的口已吩咐了，他的靈已把牠們聚集。
- 17 他也為牠們抽籤，他的手用準繩給牠們分地；牠們必永遠得著那地，也要世世代代住在其中。
