Jeremiah 37
- 1 約西亞子西底家、代約雅敬子哥尼雅、爲王於猶大地、乃巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒立之也、
- 2 耶和華藉先知耶利米所諭之言、彼與其臣僕、及斯土之民、咸不聽從、○
- 3 西底家王遣示利米雅子猶甲、與祭司瑪西雅子西番雅、往見先知耶利米曰、請爾爲我禱我上帝耶和華、
- 4 時、耶利米未下獄、尚出入於民中、
- 5 法老之軍旅自埃及而出、圍耶路撒冷之迦勒底人聞之、遂撤營、離耶路撒冷、
- 6 耶和華諭耶利米曰、
- 7 以色列之上帝耶和華云、其告遣爾問我之猶大王曰、法老之軍旅出以助爾、必返埃及、入其故土、
- 8 迦勒底人必復來攻斯邑、取而焚之、
- 9 耶和華曰、毋自欺云、迦勒底人必去我、必不去也、
- 10 攻爾之迦勒底人、爾縱擊其全軍、惟遺受創者於其中、彼必自幕而起、火焚斯邑、○
- 11 迦勒底軍爲懼法老之軍、旣撤營、離耶路撒冷、
- 12 耶利米出耶路撒冷、欲往便雅憫地、得其業於民中、
- 13 旣至便雅憫門、有閽長名伊利雅、乃哈拿尼亞孫、示利米雅子也、執先知耶利米、曰、汝降迦勒底人也、
- 14 耶利米曰、妄哉、我不降迦勒底人、伊利雅弗聽、執耶利米、解至牧伯、
- 15 諸牧伯怒耶利米、撻之、囚於繕寫約拿單室、蓋以此室爲獄也、
- 16 耶利米下獄、幽之於室多日、
- 17 西底家王遣人攜之出、王在宮潛問之曰、耶和華有言乎、耶利米曰、有、又曰、爾必付於巴比倫王之手、
- 18 耶利米謂西底家王曰、我何所干罪於爾、或爾臣僕、或庶民、致幽我於獄耶、
- 19 爾之先知與爾預言曰、巴比倫王必不至而攻爾、及斯土、其人安在、
- 20 我主我王歟、請爾聽之、納我所求、毋令我復返繕寫約拿單之室、免我死亡、
- 21 西底家王乃命幽耶利米於護軍之院、日由餅市、取餅一方與之、迨及邑中之餅告罄、耶利米遂拘留於護軍之院、
