Jeremiah 5
- 1 爾其往來於耶路撒冷之衢、於其寬廣之區察視之、索一行公義求信實者、若有之、我必宥斯邑、
- 2 彼雖指維生之耶和華而誓、猶爲妄誓、
- 3 耶和華歟、爾目非顧信實乎、爾擊之、彼不懷憂、爾滅之、彼不受教、惟自堅其顏、逾於磐石、不肯歸誠、
- 4 我曰、此乃貧乏者、愚昧者、不識耶和華之道、不明其上帝之法、
- 5 我將詣顯者與之言、彼識耶和華之道、明其上帝之法、惟彼同心折軛斷繩、
- 6 是以叢林之獅必殺之、曠野之狼必噬之、豹必伺於邑外、凡出邑者、悉爲所裂、蓋其罪戾孔多、悖逆增甚、
- 7 我何能宥爾哉、爾之子女棄我、指彼非神者而誓、我使之飽食、彼則行淫、羣集妓室、
- 8 彼若肥馬得縱、各向其鄰之妻嘶鳴、
- 9 耶和華曰、我豈不緣此而加譴責、豈不復仇於若是之國哉、○
- 10 爾登其垣而毀之、惟勿盡毀、可除其枝、蓋非屬耶和華也、
- 11 耶和華曰、以色列家與猶大家、待我詭詐維甚、
- 12 弗認耶和華、曰言者非彼也、災難不臨於我、刀兵饑饉、我不遇之、
- 13 先知爲風、道不在於其中、彼之所言、必及己身、
- 14 故萬軍之上帝耶和華曰、爲彼言是、我必使我言在爾口爲火、斯民爲薪而焚之、
- 15 耶和華曰、以色列家歟、遠方有國、旣強且古、爾曹不識其方言、不明其所語、我必導之攻爾、
- 16 其箙若旣闢之塚、其人皆爲勇士、
- 17 彼必食爾禾稼、及爾餱糧、卽爾子女所當食者、並食爾牛羣羊羣、及葡萄無花果、以刃毀爾所恃之堅城、
- 18 惟其時我猶不盡滅爾、耶和華言之矣、
- 19 爾曹若云、我上帝耶和華何爲以此加我、爾當語之曰、爾曹棄我、奉事他神於爾境、如是、亦必奉事外人於非爾之地、○
- 20 爾宜佈告於雅各家、宣傳於猶大曰、
- 21 愚昧無知之民歟、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、爾其聽此、
- 22 耶和華曰、我立永命、以沙界海、不得踰防、雖波濤洶湧而不越、漰渤而不踰、爾不畏我、不戰慄於我前乎、
- 23 惟斯民懷叛逆之心、背我而去、
- 24 彼不自謂、我當寅畏我上帝耶和華、彼降秋雨春雨、各適其時、爲我定厥穡期、
- 25 爾之愆尤使爾失此、爾之罪戾阻爾獲福、
- 26 蓋我民中有惡人、隱伏如獵禽者、設機以陷人、
- 27 籠充以禽鳥、其室亦充以詭詐、因而昌盛富有、
- 28 彼體肥膚潤、作惡太甚、不爲孤子伸寃、使之利達、不爲貧者折中、
- 29 耶和華曰、我豈不緣此而加譴責、豈不復仇於若是之國哉、
- 30 斯土有奇異可憎之事、
- 31 先知傳虛僞、祭司藉以操權、我民咸以爲悅、至終爾將若之何、
