Revelation of John 12
- 1 又天に大いなる徴現れたり、即ち日を着たる一個の婦人あり、其足の下に月ありて、頭には十二の星の冠あり。
- 2 子を姙して陣痛に遇ひ、将に産まんとして叫び居れり。
- 3 又天に他の徴顕れたり、看よ大いなる赤き龍ありて、七の頭、十の角あり、其頭には七の冠あり、
- 4 尾は天の星の三分の一を引き居りしが、之を地に擲ち、子を産まんとする婦人の前に立ちて、生れなば其子を食はんと構へたり。
- 5 婦人は萬民を鉄の杖もて治むべき一人の男子を生みしに、其子は神の御許に其玉座へ引上げられたり。
- 6 婦人は荒野に迯れしが、此處に一千二百六十日の間養はるる様、神より備へられたる處ありき。
- 7 斯て天に於て大いなる戰起れり、ミカエル及び其使等、龍と戰ひ、龍も其使等も戰ひ居りしが、
- 8 龍勝を得ずして天に其跡すらも遺らざりき。 海の砂の上に立てり。
- 9 而して彼大いなる龍、全世界を惑はせる蛇、所謂惡魔又はサタンなるもの投下されたり、彼地に投下されしかば、其使等も共に投下されたり。
- 10 我又大いなる聲の天に於て斯く言へるを聞けり、我等の神の救と、力と、國と、又其キリストの権能とは、今ぞ至れる、其は我等の兄弟等を訴へて、我等の神の御前に日夜彼等を訴へ居たりしもの、投下されたればなり。
- 11 而して兄弟等は羔の御血により、又己が證明の言によりて之に勝ち、死に至るまで己が生命を惜まざりき。
- 12 是故に喜べや、天及び天に住へるものよ、禍なる哉地よ海よ、其は惡魔己が時の唯暫時なるを知りて、大いなる怒を啣みつつ汝等に下りたればなり、と。
- 13 斯て龍は己が地に投下されたるを見て、男子を生みし婦人に追迫りしが、
- 14 婦人は荒野に飛ばん為に大いなる鷲の翼を授けられしかば、己が處に至り、一年と數年と半年との間、龍の面前を離れて此處に養はれたり。
- 15 然るに龍は其口より水を出して、婦人の後より吹懸くる事河の如く、之を河に流さしめんとしたりしも、
- 16 地は婦人を助け、口を開きて龍の口より吹出したる水を呑盡り。
- 17 龍は婦人を怒りて、其子孫の中神の掟を守り且イエズス、キリストの證を有する人々と戰はんとて、往きて、
