Revelation of John 20
- 1 又見たるに、一の天使底なき淵の鍵と大いなる鎖とを手に持ちて天より降り、
- 2 彼龍、即ち惡魔サタンなる古き蛇を捕へ、一千年を期して之を繋ぎ、
- 3 底なき淵に投入れて之を閉籠め、封印を其上に為せり。是一千年の終るまで諸民を惑はさざらしめん為にして、其後は暫し解放たるべし、
- 4 我又列座を見たるに、之に就くものありて裁判権を賜はり、又イエズスの證明の為神の御言の為に馘られし人々の魂と、彼獣をも其像をも拝まず、其印章を己が額又は手に受けざりし人々と、皆生回りて、一千年の間キリストと共に王と成れるを見たり。
- 5 其他の死人は総て一千年の終るまで生回らず、是即ち第一の復活なり。
- 6 福なる哉、聖なる哉、此第一の復活に與る人。斯る輩に於ては第二の死は権力を有せず、却て彼等は神及びキリストの司祭として、一千年の間之と與に王たるべし。
- 7 一千年終りて後、サタン其獄舎より放たれ、出でて地の四方の人民、ゴグ及びマゴグを惑はし、戰の為に之を集めん、其數は海の眞砂の如し。
- 8 而して彼等地の全面に上り、聖徒等の陣営と最愛の市街とを圍みしが、
- 9 火天より降りて彼等を焼盡し、彼等を惑はしたる惡魔は火と硫黄との池に投入れられたり。是に於て彼獣と、
- 10 僞預言者と、世々に限なく晝夜苦しめらるべし。
- 11 又見たるに、大いなる白き玉座ありて、之に坐し給ふものあり、地と天とは其前を逃去りて、其場所すら見出されざりき。
- 12 又見たるに、死せし人々、大小共に玉座の前に立ちて、數多の書籍開かれ、又別に一の書籍開かれしが、是生命の名簿にして、死者は皆書籍に記されたる事柄により、面々の業に從ひて審判せられたり。
- 13 斯て海は其中に在りし死者を出し、死も冥府も亦其中に在りし死者を出し、各其業に從ひて審判せられ、
- 14 死も冥府も火の池に投入れられしが、是第二の死にして、
- 15 生命の名簿に記されざりし人々も亦火の池に投入れられたり。
