西番雅書 1
- 1 當猶大 王 亞們 的兒子 約西亞 在位的時候，耶和華 的話 臨 到 希西家 的玄孫，亞瑪利雅 的曾孫，基大利 的孫子，古示 的兒子 西番雅。
- 2 耶和華 說：我必從 地 上 除滅 萬類。
- 3 我必除滅 人 和牲畜，與 空中 的鳥、海裡 的魚，以及絆腳石和 惡人；我必將 人 從 地 上 剪除。這是耶和華 說的。
- 4 我必伸 手 攻擊 猶大 和耶路撒冷 的一切 居民，也必從 這 地方 剪除 所 剩下的 巴力，並 基瑪林 的名 和 祭司，
- 5 與 那些在 房頂上 敬拜 天上 萬象的，並 那些敬拜 耶和華 指著他起誓，又指著瑪勒堪 起誓的，
- 6 與 那些轉去 不跟從 耶和華的，和 不 尋求 耶和華 也不 訪問他的。
- 7 你要在主 耶和華 面前 靜默無聲，因為 耶和華 的日子 快到。 耶和華 已經預備 祭物，將他的客 分別為聖。
- 8 到了我─耶和華 獻祭 的日子，必懲罰 首領 和 王 子，並 一切 穿 外邦 衣服的。
- 9 到那 日，我必懲罰 一切 跳 過 門檻、將強暴 和詭詐 得來之物充滿 主人 房屋的。
- 10 耶和華 說： 當那 日，從魚 門 必發出悲哀 的聲音，從 二 城發出哀號的聲音，從山間 發出大 破裂的響聲。
- 11 瑪革提施 的居民哪，你們要哀號，因為 迦南的商 民 都 滅亡了！凡 搬運 銀子 的都被剪除。
- 12 那 時，我必用燈 巡查 耶路撒冷；我必懲罰 那些如酒在渣滓上 澄清 的；他們心裡 說：耶和華 必不 降福，也不 降禍。
- 13 他們的財寶 必成為 掠物；他們的房屋 必變為荒場。他們必建造 房屋，卻不得 住在其內；栽種 葡萄園，卻不得 喝 所出的酒。
- 14 耶和華 的大 日 臨近，臨近 而且甚 快，乃是耶和華 日子 的風聲；勇士 必痛痛地 哭號。
- 15 那 日 是忿怒 的日子，是急難 困苦 的日子，是荒廢 淒涼 的日子，是黑暗 幽冥、密雲 烏黑 的日子，
- 16 是吹角 吶喊 的日子，要攻擊 堅固 城 和 高大 的城樓。
- 17 我必使災禍臨到 人身上，使他們行走 如同瞎眼的，因為 得罪了 我。他們的血 必倒出 如灰塵；他們的肉 必拋棄如糞土。
- 18 當耶和華 發怒 的日子， 他們的金 銀 不 能 救他們；他的忿怒 如火 必燒滅 全 地， 毀滅 這地 的一切 居民，而且 大大毀滅。
