- 1 十二月卽亞達月、十三日、猶大人之仇、將行王之前詔、冀制猶大人、而反爲猶大人所制、
- 2 是日猶大人、集於亞哈隨魯王各州諸邑、殺戮欲害己者、莫能禦之、以諸族咸畏之也、
- 3 州牧、大臣、方伯、曁從王事之百寮、畏末底改、助猶大人、
- 4 蓋末底改尊於朝廷、名揚諸州、爵位日隆、
- 5 猶大人以刃擊諸敵、殺戮之、翦滅之、凡憾之者、任意而待、
- 6 在書珊城、猶大人殺五百人、
- 7 又殺巴珊大他、達分、亞斯帕他、
- 8 破拉他、亞大利雅、亞利大他、
- 9 帕瑪斯他、亞利賽、亞利代、瓦耶撒他、
- 10 此十人、乃哈米大他之孫、猶大人敵哈曼之子、惟不取其貨財、
- 11 當日在書珊城、核被殺者之數、呈於王前、
- 12 王以告后以斯帖曰、猶大人在書珊城中、旣殺五百人、並戮哈曼十子、則在王之諸州、其所爲者可知矣、今爾何求、我必予爾、尚有所欲、我必爲之、
- 13 以斯帖曰、如王悅之、則請允居書珊之猶大人、明日仍行今日之詔、並以哈曼十子、懸之於木、
- 14 王命依此而行、頒詔於書珊、遂取哈曼十子懸之、
- 15 亞達月十四日、居書珊之猶大人復集、殺三百人、惟不取其貨財、
- 16 在王諸州之猶大人亦集、自相扞衞、以保其生、免敵之擾、殺憾己者、七萬五千人、惟不取其貨財、
- 17 亞達月十三日行此事、十四日憩息、以爲筵宴喜樂之日、
- 18 居書珊之猶大人、於十三日、十四日會集、十五日憩息、以爲設筵喜樂之日、
- 19 故居鄉里之猶大人、今於亞達月十四日、筵宴喜樂、以爲佳日、互相饋遺、○
- 20 末底改錄其事、致書在亞哈隨魯王諸州之猶大人、無間遠邇、
- 21 每歲守亞達月之十四日、十五日、
- 22 以是月是日、猶大人免敵之擾、轉憂爲喜、轉戚爲愉、守爲佳日、於此二日、筵宴喜樂、互相饋遺、賙恤貧乏、
- 23 猶大人循末底改所達之書、以始行之事、立爲永例、
- 24 蓋亞甲族人、哈米大他子哈曼、謀害猶大人、欲殲其衆、掣普珥卽籤、定日殺戮之、勦滅之、
- 25 其事爲王所知、王則頒詔、使哈曼謀害猶大人之惡計、歸於其首、父子俱懸於木、
- 26 後以普珥音義、名斯二日曰普琳、猶大人緣此書所載、及己所見所遇、
- 27 議定己與後裔、及凡歸附之者、每歲依其例文、屆期守此二日、永世弗替、
- 28 各州諸邑、歷世各家、謹記恪守是日、此普琳日、在猶大人中、必不可廢、其裔永誌弗諼、
- 29 亞比孩女、王后以斯帖、及猶大人末底改、爲文以證普琳之第二書、
- 30 且以和平誠實之言、致書於亞哈隨魯國、百有二十七州之猶大人、
- 31 依期守普琳日、循猶大人末底改、及后以斯帖所命、從猶大人爲己及裔、所定禁食哭號之例、
- 32 以斯帖降諭、定守普琳日、其事錄之於册、
