1 Kings 3
- 1 所羅門與埃及王法老聯婚、娶其女、攜入大衞城、待建王宮、及耶和華室、並耶路撒冷四周之垣竣工、
- 2 當時因未爲耶和華名建室、民在崇邱獻祭、
- 3 所羅門敬愛耶和華、遵父大衞之典章而行、惟獻祭焚香於崇邱、○
- 4 所羅門往基遍獻祭、在彼之崇邱維大、王獻牲一千於其壇、以爲燔祭、
- 5 耶和華夜間見夢於所羅門曰、爾欲我錫爾者、可求之、
- 6 所羅門曰、昔爾僕我父大衞、以誠實公義中正、行於爾前、爾循是而施以鴻恩、復加厚惠、賜之一子、踐乎其位、有如今日、
- 7 我上帝耶和華歟、汝使爾僕、代父大衞爲王、惟我幼冲、不知若何出入、
- 8 爾之選民乃大、其數不可勝數、爾僕居於其中、
- 9 誰能鞫此衆民、祈賜爾僕智慧之心、爲民折中、而辨是非、
- 10 所羅門求此、主悅其言、
- 11 上帝曰、因爾求此、不求壽富、亦不求滅敵之命、惟求智慧以聽訟、
- 12 我依爾所求、以聰明智慧之心錫爾、致爾之前、未有如爾者、爾之後、亦未有如爾者、
- 13 爾所未求者、我兼賜爾、卽豐富尊榮、爾之畢生、列王之中、無可比儗、
- 14 爾若行我道途、守我典章誡命、循爾父大衞所行、我必延爾年齡、
- 15 所羅門旣寤、則知爲夢、遂返耶路撒冷、立於耶和華約匱前、獻燔祭酬恩祭、宴其臣僕、○
- 16 時、有二妓至、立於王前、
- 17 其一曰、我主歟、我與此婦同居一室、相偕在室、我產一子、
- 18 越至三日、彼亦產子、惟我二人同處、此外無人與居、
- 19 彼於夜間、壓死其子、
- 20 中夜彼起、乘婢尚寢、取我子於我側、抱於其懷、而置死子於我懷、
- 21 昧爽、我起哺子、見子已死、迨旦察之、見其非我所產、
- 22 彼婦曰、不然、生者我子、死者爾子、曰、不然、死者爾子、生者我子、二人如是訴於王前、
- 23 王曰、此云生者我子、死者爾子、彼云不然、死者爾子、生者我子、
- 24 王曰、爲我取刃、則取刃至王前、
- 25 王曰、剖生子爲二、各給其半、
- 26 生子之母心痛其子、告王曰、我主歟、願以生子給之、決不可殺、彼婦曰、勿歸我、勿歸爾、剖之可也、
- 27 王曰、彼乃生子之母、以子予之、決不可殺、
- 28 以色列衆聞王所判、知其具有上帝之智慧以行鞫、遂咸寅畏焉、
