1 Kings 17
- 1 旅於基列之提斯比人以利亞、告亞哈曰、我指所事維生之耶和華、以色列之上帝而誓、此數年間、非我有言、則雨露不降、
- 2 耶和華諭以利亞曰、
- 3 去此東往、匿於約但東之基立溪濱、
- 4 可飲溪水、我命烏食爾、
- 5 遂遵耶和華命、往約但東之基立溪濱居焉、
- 6 烏朝夕以餅與肉給之、所飲者、此溪之水、
- 7 日久無雨降於其地、溪水盡涸、○
- 8 耶和華諭以利亞曰、
- 9 起往西頓之撒勒法、而居於彼、我已命在彼之嫠婦供養爾、
- 10 遂起、往撒勒法、至邑門、見嫠婦採薪、呼之曰、請爾以器、取水少許以飲我、
- 11 婦往時、又呼之曰、請爾手持片餅與我、
- 12 曰、我指爾之上帝、維生之耶和華以誓、我無餅、惟餘一握之麪於罌、少許之油於甁、今採薪二、歸而爲我及子備之、食之而死、
- 13 以利亞曰、勿懼、其往、如爾所言而行、先爲我作小餅、攜之至、後爲爾及子作餅、
- 14 蓋以色列之上帝耶和華曰、罌內之麪不減、甁中之油不罄、迨耶和華降雨於地、
- 15 婦往、遵以利亞言而行、婦與其家、及以利亞、食之多日、
- 16 罌內之麪不減、甁中之油不罄、如耶和華藉以利亞所言、
- 17 厥後、家主之子遘疾甚劇、至無氣息、
- 18 婦謂以利亞曰、上帝僕歟、我與爾何與、爾來此、使憶我罪、而殺我子耶、
- 19 曰、以子付我、遂取諸母懷、抱至所居之樓、置於己牀、
- 20 籲耶和華曰、我上帝耶和華歟、我旅此嫠之家、汝豈降災於彼、以殺其子乎、
- 21 乃伏於子身者三、籲耶和華曰、我上帝耶和華歟、祈使此子之魂、返於其軀、
- 22 耶和華允其所祈、子魂乃返而甦、
- 23 以利亞攜之下樓、入室、付於其母、曰、汝子復生矣、
- 24 婦曰、我今知爾乃上帝僕、耶和華藉爾口所言者、眞實無妄、
