約翰三書 1
- 1 我這作長老的寫信給親愛的該猶，就是我在真理中所愛的。
- 2 親愛的，我祝你凡事亨通，身體健壯，正如你的靈魂安泰一樣。
- 3 有些弟兄來到，證實你心中存有真理，就是你按真理行事，我就非常欣慰。
- 4 我聽見我的兒女按真理行事，我的喜樂沒有比這更大的了。
- 5 親愛的，你向弟兄所行的，特別是向外地來的弟兄所行的，都是出於忠心。
- 6 他們在教會面前證實了你的愛；你照著 神所喜悅的，資助他們的旅程，這樣是好的。
- 7 因為他們為主的名出外，並沒有從教外人接受甚麼。
- 8 所以我們應當接待這樣的人，好讓我們為了真理成為同工。
- 9 我曾經略略寫信給你那裡的教會，但他們中間那好作領袖的丟特腓不接待我們。
- 10 因此，我來的時候，必要提起他所作的事，就是他用惡言中傷我們；這還不夠，他不但不接待弟兄，還要阻止那些想要接待的人，甚至把他們趕出教會。
- 11 親愛的，不要效法惡，應該效法善。行善的屬於 神，作惡的沒有見過 神。
- 12 低米丟行善，有眾人為他作證，真理本身也為他作證。我們也為他作證，你知道我們的見證是真的。
- 13 我還有許多話要寫給你，可是我不願借用筆墨。
- 14 我盼望很快就見到你，當面談談。 [ (III John 1:15) 願你平安。這裡的朋友都問候你。請你一一提名問候你那裡的朋友。 ]
