Jaco's Relish

Jaco's Relish

My father-in-law makes this delicious 'concoction' with chillies and onions that they preserve and eat with most savoury dishes.  It will really spice-up sandwiches as well.  The amount of heat you get depends on the type of chilli you use, and the amount can easily be adjusted accordingly.
Large Quantity Pizza Dough

Large Quantity Pizza Dough

Being a large family I don't make my pizza in round pans, as they waste space and time.  I make it in larger rectangular pans that fit exactly in my oven.  Because pizza is our family's unanimous favourite I make enough for at least two meals taking in consideration the time and effort that go in it.  I would either freeze the second portion or take the next day off cooking!  This amount makes about 12 - 14 thin crust, medium, round pizzas.  It fills at least 6 of my pans. Parsley

Welcome parsley into your kitchen!  It is a great all around herb. It quickly adds a touch of color and texture to any recipe. The aroma and taste of parsley is very distinctive for a herb that is generally described as being mild and non obtrusive.
It is best to avoid large amounts of parsley if you are pregnant, especially the use of the volatile essential oil.
