2 Chronicles 21
- 1 約沙法與列祖偕眠、同葬於大衞城、子約蘭嗣位、
- 2 約蘭弟、約沙法子、亞撒利雅、耶歇、撒迦利雅、亞撒利雅、米迦勒、示法提雅、皆以色列王約沙法子、
- 3 其父厚賜以金銀珍寶、及猶大之堅城、約蘭爲長子、故以國予之、
- 4 約蘭興起、得治其父之國、則自強霸、以刃戮其諸弟、及以色列牧伯數人、
- 5 約蘭卽位時、年三十有二、在耶路撒冷爲王、凡歷八年、
- 6 循以色列列王之道、效亞哈家所爲、蓋娶亞哈女爲后、行耶和華所惡、
- 7 然耶和華不欲滅大衞家、因與大衞立約、許以永賜燈光於彼、爰及子孫、
- 8 當約蘭時、以東叛猶大、脫於其手、立王自治、
- 9 約蘭率軍長、及所有之車而往、以東人圍之、約蘭夜起擊之、及其車長、
- 10 如是以東叛猶大、至於今日、立拿亦同時而叛、因約蘭違棄其列祖之上帝耶和華也、
- 11 且建崇邱於猶大山、使耶路撒冷居民狥欲、誘惑猶大人、
- 12 有先知以利亞之書至曰、爾祖大衞之上帝耶和華云、因爾不循爾父約沙法、與猶大王亞撒之道、
- 13 乃從以色列列王之道、使猶大人及耶路撒冷居民狥欲、如亞哈家然、又戮爾父家諸弟、愈於爾者、
- 14 耶和華必以巨災擊爾民、與爾妻孥、及凡所有、
- 15 爾必患腸疾甚劇、日卽墜脫、○
- 16 耶和華激非利士人、與附近古實之亞拉伯人、來攻約蘭、
- 17 侵入猶大、掠王宮之貨財、虜其諸子后妃、除季子約哈斯外、一子靡遺、
- 18 此後、耶和華使約蘭患腸疾、莫能療治、
- 19 厥疾纏綿、越二年腸墜、痛極而卒、其民不爲之焚物、如昔之爲其列祖然、
- 20 約蘭卽位時、年三十有二、在耶路撒冷爲王、凡歷八年、逝世無人思慕、葬於大衞城、不在列王之墓、
