- 1 För sångmästaren, till strängaspel; av David.
- 2 Hör, o Gud, mitt rop, akta på min bön.
- 3 Från jordens ända ropar jag till dig, ty mitt hjärta försmäktar; för mig upp på en klippa, som är mig alltför hög.
- 4 Ty du är min tillflykt, ett starkt torn mot fienden.
- 5 Låt mig bo i din hydda evinnerligen; under dina vingars beskärm tager jag min tillflykt. Sela.
- 6 Ty du, o Gud, hör mina löften, åt dem som frukta ditt namn giver du en arvedel.
- 7 Du förökar konungens dagar; hans år skola vara från släkte till släkte.
- 8 Må han sitta på sin tron inför Gud evinnerligen; låt nåd och trofasthet bevara honom.Då skall jag lovsjunga ditt namn till evig tid, i det jag får infria mina löften dag efter dag.
