- 1 Halleluja! Loven, I HERRENS tjänare, loven HERRENS namn.
- 2 Välsignat vare HERRENS namn från nu och till evig tid.
- 3 Från solens uppgång ända till dess nedgång vare HERRENS namn högtlovat.
- 4 HERREN är hög över alla folk, hans ära når över himmelen.
- 5 Ja, vem är såsom HERREN, vår Gud, han som sitter så högt,
- 6 han som ser ned så djupt -- ja, vem i himmelen och på jorden?
- 7 Han som upprättar den ringe ur stoftet, han som lyfter den fattige ur dyn,
- 8 för att sätta honom bredvid furstar, bredvid sitt folks furstar;
- 9 han som låter den ofruktsamma hustrun sitta med glädje såsom moder, omgiven av barn! Halleluja!
