Isaiah 20
- 1 (아시리아 왕 사르곤이 다르단을 보내매) 그가 아스돗에 와서 아스돗과 싸워 그곳을 취하던 해의 일이라.
- 2 바로 그때에 주께서 아모스의 아들 이사야를 통해 말씀하여 이르시되, 갈지어다. 네 허리에서 굵은 베를 풀고 네 발에서 신을 벗을지니라, 하시니 그가 그대로 행하여 벗은 몸과 맨발로 다니니라.
- 3 주께서 이르시되, 내 종 이사야가 삼 년 동안 벗은 몸과 맨발로 다니며 이집트와 에티오피아에 대하여 표적과 이적이 되었느니라.
- 4 이와 같이 아시리아 왕이 이집트 사람들을 죄수로, 에티오피아 사람들을 포로로 끌고 갈 때에 젊은 자나 늙은 자나 벗은 몸과 맨발로 다니며 볼기까지 드러내어 이집트의 수치를 보이리니
- 5 그들이 자기들이 기대하던 에티오피아와 자기들의 영광인 이집트로 인하여 무서워하며 부끄러워하리라.
- 6 그 날에 이 섬의 거주민이 말하기를, 보라, 우리가 기대하는 나라 곧 우리가 아시리아 왕으로부터 구출 받으려고 피하여 도움을 구하는 나라가 이와 같이 되었은즉 우리가 어찌 피하리요? 하리라.
