- 1 ヱホバ、モーセに告て言給はく
- 2 汝イスラエルの子孫に語り之が中よりその各箇の父祖の家にしたがひて杖一本づつを取れ即ちその一切の牧伯等よりその父祖の家に循ひて杖都合十二本を取りその人等の名を各々その杖に書せ
- 3 レビの杖には汝アロンの名を書せ其はその父祖の家の長たる者各箇杖一本を出すべければなり
- 4 而して集會の幕屋の中我が汝等に會ふ處なる律法の櫃の前に汝之を置べし
- 5 我が選める人の杖は芽さん我かくイスラエルの子孫が汝等にむかひて呟くところの怨言をわが前に止むべし
- 6 モーセかくイスラエルの子孫に語りければその牧伯等おのおの杖一本づつを之に付せり即ち牧伯等おのおのその父祖の家にしたがひて一本づつを出したればその杖あはせて十二本アロンの杖もその杖の中にあり
- 7 モーセその杖を皆律法の幕屋の中にてヱホバの前に置り
- 8 斯てその翌日モーセ律法の幕屋にいりて視るにレビの家のために出せるアロンの杖芽をふき蕾をなし花咲て巴旦杏の果を結べり
- 9 モーセその杖をことごとくヱホバの前よりイスラエルの子孫の所に取いだしければ彼ら見ておのおの自分の杖を取り
- 10 時にヱホバまたモーセに言たまはく汝アロンの杖を律法の櫃の前に携へかヘり其處にたくはへ置てこの背反者等のために徴とならしめよ斯して汝かれらの怨言を全く取のぞきかれらをして死ざらしむべし
- 11 モーセすなはち然なしヱホバの己に命じたまへる如くせり
- 12 イスラエルの子孫モーセに語りて曰ふ嗚呼我等は死ん我等は滅びん我等はみな滅びん
- 13 凡そヱホバの幕屋に微にても近く者はみな死るなり我等はみな死斷べき歟
