创世记 6
- 1 人在地上开始增多，又生养女儿的时候，
- 2 神的众子看见人的女子美丽，就随意挑选，娶作妻子。
- 3 耶和华说：“人既然是属肉体的，我的灵就不永远住在他里面，但他的日子还有一百二十年。”
- 4 在那些日子，有巨人在地上； 神的儿子和人的女子结合，就生了上古英武有名的人物。
- 5 耶和华看见人在地上的罪恶很大，终日心里思念的，尽都是邪恶的。
- 6 于是，耶和华后悔造人在地上，心中忧伤。
- 7 耶和华说：“我要把我创造的人，从地上消灭；无论是人或牲畜，是昆虫或是天空的飞鸟，我都要消灭，因为我后悔造了他们。”
- 8 只有挪亚在耶和华眼前蒙恩。
- 9 以下是挪亚的后代。挪亚是个义人，是当时一个完全人。挪亚和 神同行。
- 10 挪亚生了三个儿子，就是闪、含、雅弗。
- 11 当时，世界在 神面前败坏了，地上满了强暴。
- 12 神观看大地，看见世界已经败坏了；全人类在地上所行的都是败坏的。
- 13 神对挪亚说：“在我面前全人类的尽头已经来到，因为地上由于他们的缘故满了强暴。看哪，我要把他们和世界一起毁灭。
- 14 你要用歌斐木做一艘方舟。方舟里面要做一些舱房；方舟的内外都要涂上沥青。
- 15 你要这样做方舟：方舟要长一百三十三公尺，宽二十二公尺，高十三公尺。
- 16 方舟上面四周要做透光口，高四十四公寸；方舟的门要开在旁边；方舟要分为上中下三层建造。
- 17 看哪，我要使洪水临到地上，消灭天下的生物，就是有生气的活物；在地上的都必定要死。
- 18 我要和你立约。你可以进入方舟；你和你的儿子、妻子和儿媳，都可以和你一同进入方舟。
- 19 所有的活物，你要把每样一对，就是一公一母，带进方舟，好和你一同保全生命。
- 20 飞鸟各从其类，牲畜各从其类，地上所有爬行的动物，各从其类，每样一对，都要到你那里来，好保全生命。
- 21 你要拿各种可吃的食物，积存起来，好作你和它们的食物。”
- 22 挪亚就这样作了； 神吩咐他的，他都照样作了。
