- 1 以下是亚当后代的记录。 神创造人的时候，是按着自己的样式造的；
- 2 他创造了一男一女。在创造他们的时候， 神赐福给他们，称他们为人。
- 3 亚当一百三十岁的时候，生了一个儿子，样式和形象都和自己相似，就给他起名叫塞特。
- 4 亚当生塞特以后，还活了八百年，并且生了其他的儿女。
- 5 亚当共活了九百三十岁，就死了。
- 6 塞特一百零五岁的时候，生了以挪士。
- 7 塞特生以挪士以后，还活了八百零七年，并且生了其他的儿女。
- 8 塞特共活了九百一十二岁，就死了。
- 9 以挪士九十岁的时候，生了该南。
- 10 以挪士生该南以后，还活了八百一十五年，并且生了其他的儿女。
- 11 以挪士共活了九百零五岁，就死了。
- 12 该南七十岁的时候，生了玛勒列。
- 13 该南生玛勒列以后，还活了八百四十年，并且生了其他的儿女。
- 14 该南共活了九百一十岁，就死了。
- 15 玛勒列六十五岁的时候，生了雅列。
- 16 玛勒列生雅列以后，还活了八百三十年，并且生了其他的儿女。
- 17 玛勒列共活了八百九十五岁，就死了。
- 18 雅列一百六十二岁的时候，生了以诺。
- 19 雅列生以诺以后，还活了八百年，并且生了其他的儿女。
- 20 雅列共活了九百六十二岁，就死了。
- 21 以诺六十五岁的时候，生了玛土撒拉。
- 22 以诺生玛土撒拉以后，和 神同行三百年，并且生了其他的儿女。
- 23 以诺共活了三百六十五岁。
- 24 以诺和 神同行，所以 神把他取去，他就不在了。
- 25 玛土撒拉一百八十七岁的时候，生了拉麦。
- 26 玛土撒拉生拉麦以后，还活了七百八十二年，并且生了其他的儿女。
- 27 玛土撒拉共活了九百六十九岁，就死了。
- 28 拉麦一百八十二岁的时候，生了一个儿子，
- 29 就给他起名叫挪亚，说：“这儿子必使我们从地上的操作和手中的劳苦得着安慰，因为耶和华曾经咒诅这地。”
- 30 拉麦生挪亚以后，还活了五百九十五年，并且生了其他的儿女。
- 31 拉麦共活了七百七十七岁，就死了。
- 32 挪亚五百岁的时候，就生了闪、含和雅弗。
