2 Samuel 17
- 1 亞希多弗謂押沙龍曰、許我簡卒一萬二千、今夜啟行、追襲大衞、
- 2 乘其困憊手弱臨之、使之驚惶、侍從必遁、而我獨擊其王、
- 3 俾衆悉歸於爾、得爾所索之人、則如衆返、而民安焉、
- 4 押沙龍及以色列長老、皆悅此言、
- 5 押沙龍曰、召亞基人、戶篩至、俾得與聞其言、
- 6 戶篩旣至、押沙龍曰、亞希多弗所言若此、可從之乎、否則爾言之、
- 7 戶篩曰、亞希多弗此次之謀不嘉、
- 8 又曰、爾父與其侍從、乃爲英武、爾所知也、今其衷懷暴怒、如熊在野、而亡其子、爾父又嫻戰事、必不宿於民中、
- 9 今必藏於坑坎、或在他所、如爾從者數人先仆、聞者必曰、從押沙龍者見戮、
- 10 則人雖驍勇、心猛如獅、必喪厥膽、蓋以色列族咸知爾父英武、從者亦驍勇、
- 11 我之謀議、悉集以色列衆、自但至別是巴、如海沙之多、爾親出戰、
- 12 於其所在、倏然臨之、如露降於土壤、使彼及其侍從、靡有孑遺、
- 13 彼若入城、以色列衆必攜繩至、曳城入河、卷石不遺、
- 14 押沙龍及以色列衆曰、亞基人戶篩之謀、較亞希多弗之謀尤善、蓋耶和華預定敗亞希多弗之謀、以禍押沙龍、○
- 15 戶篩謂祭司撒督亞比亞他曰、亞希多弗爲押沙龍、及以色列長老、所謀如此、我所謀如此、
- 16 宜急遣人告大衞曰、今夜勿宿曠野之津、必濟河、免王與侍從、俱見吞噬、
- 17 時、約拿單亞希瑪斯待於隱羅結、因不可入城、爲人所見、有婢數來告之、則往轉告大衞王、
- 18 有孺子見之、以告押沙龍、二人遂急去、至巴戶琳人家、其院有井、二人下焉、
- 19 婦以蓋掩井口、布麥屑於上、而事不洩、
- 20 押沙龍僕至其家、問婦曰、亞希瑪斯約拿單安在、婦曰、已濟溪矣、索之不得、乃歸耶路撒冷、
- 21 去後、二人自井出、往告大衞王曰、亞希多弗設謀害爾、宜起、速濟河、
- 22 大衞與僕從遂起、濟約但、及黎明、民衆悉濟、不遺一人、
- 23 亞希多弗見其所謀不從、卽備驢反故邑、歸私第、處置家事、自縊而死、葬於父墓、○
- 24 大衞至瑪哈念、押沙龍及以色列衆濟約但、
- 25 押沙龍立亞瑪撒爲軍長、以代約押、其人乃以實瑪利人以特拉、與拿轄女亞比該同室而生者、亞比該與約押母洗魯雅爲姊妹、
- 26 押沙龍與以色列衆、建營於基列地、○
- 27 大衞旣至瑪哈念、亞捫族拉巴人拿轄子朔比、與羅底巴人亞米利子瑪吉、曁基列之羅基琳人巴西萊咸至、
- 28 攜牀盆瓦器、小麥、麰麥、細麪、烘穀、大豆、小豆、烘豆、
- 29 蜜酥與羊、牛酪之餅、以供大衞、及其侍從、蓋曰、民在曠野、飢渴困憊、
