2 Samuel 5
- 1 以色列支派咸至希伯崙、見大衞曰、我乃爾之骨肉、
- 2 昔掃羅爲我王時、爾率以色列人出入、耶和華謂爾曰、爾必爲我民以色列之牧、而作其君、
- 3 以色列長老、咸至希伯崙見王、大衞王在希伯崙、於耶和華前與之立約、遂膏大衞爲以色列王、
- 4 大衞卽位時、年三十、在位四十年、
- 5 在希伯崙爲猶大王、歷七年有六月、在耶路撒冷爲以色列及猶大王、歷三十三年、○
- 6 王及從者往耶路撒冷、攻斯土之耶布斯人、耶布斯人謂大衞曰、爾必不得入此、瞽者跛者必逐爾、意謂大衞不能入也、
- 7 然大衞取錫安之保障、卽大衞城、
- 8 當日大衞曰、擊耶布斯人者、其至水溝、擊大衞中心所惡之跛者瞽者、故成諺曰、有彼瞽者跛者、人不能入其室、
- 9 大衞居其保障、名之曰大衞城、在米羅之內、四周築垣、
- 10 大衞日漸昌大、萬軍之上帝耶和華偕之、○
- 11 推羅王希蘭遣使見大衞、攜香柏及木工石工而至、爲大衞建宮室、
- 12 大衞乃知耶和華立之爲以色列王、且爲其民以色列振興其國、○
- 13 大衞至自希伯崙、在耶路撒冷又娶后妃、誕生子女、
- 14 在耶路撒冷所生者、其名如左、沙母亞、朔罷、拿單、所羅門、
- 15 益轄、以利書亞、尼斐、雅非亞、
- 16 以利沙瑪、以利雅大、以利法列、○
- 17 非利士人聞大衞受膏爲以色列王、咸至而索之、大衞聞之、乃入保障、
- 18 非利士人旣至、布於利乏音谷、
- 19 大衞詢於耶和華曰、我往攻非利士人可否、爾付之於我手乎、耶和華曰、往哉、我必付之於爾手、
- 20 大衞遂至巴力毘拉心、擊之於彼、則曰、耶和華破敵於我前、如水之衝流然、故其名地曰巴力毘拉心、
- 21 敵遺其偶像、大衞與從者取之、○
- 22 非利士人復至、布於利乏音谷、
- 23 大衞詢於耶和華、耶和華曰、毋往迎之、宜遶其後、於桑林相對之所攻之、
- 24 聞桑杪有步履之聲、則急往、蓋耶和華先爾而行、擊非利士軍旅、
- 25 大衞遵耶和華命、擊非利士人、自迦巴至基色、
