- 9 Dens Nysen fremkalder straalende Lys, som Morgenrødens Øjenlaag er dens Øjne.
- 10 Ud af dens Gab farer Fakler, Ildgnister spruder der frem.
- 11 Em staar ud af dens Næsebor som af en ophedet, kogende Kedel.
- 12 Dens Aande tænder som glødende Kul, Luer staar ud af dens Gab.
- 13 Styrken bor paa dens Hals, og Angsten hopper foran den.
- 14 Tæt sidder Kødets Knuder, som støbt til Kroppen; de rokkes ikke;
- 15 fast som Sten er dens Hjerte støbt, fast som den nederste Møllesten.
- 16 Naar den rejser sig, gyser Helte, fra Sans og Samling gaar de af Skræk.
- 17 Angriberens Sværd holder ikke Stand, ej Kastevaaben, Spyd eller Pil.
- 18 Jern regner den kun for Halm og Kobber for trøsket Træ;
- 19 Buens Søn slaar den ikke paa Flugt, Slyngens Sten bliver Straa for den,
- 20 Stridskøllen regnes for Rør, den ler ad det svirrende Spyd.
- 21 Paa Bugen er der skarpe Rande, dens Spor i Dyndet er som Tærskeslædens;
- 22 Dybet faar den i Kog som en Gryde, en Salvekedel gør den af Floden;
- 23 bag den er der en lysende Sti, Dybet synes som Sølverhaar.
- 24 Dens Lige findes ikke paa Jord, den er skabt til ikke at frygte.
- 25 Alt, hvad højt er, ræddes for den, den er Konge over alle stolte Dyr.

Danish translation of the Old Testament authorized in 1931 by the Danish King, with the New Testment being the authorized Danish version from 1907.
The NT is based on an entirely new OCR-scanning of an edition with Latin typographic (not Fraktur). The NT has subsequently been thoroughly proof-read and hand-corrected, and footnotes
as well as tables of contents for each chapter have been added.
The OT is based on an OCR-scan from the late 1980s, scanned from a typographically deficient
edition from 1933. OCR-scanning done and proof-read by a Danish pioneering couple with a heart
for media-missions. It was placed on the Internet by Søren Horn in the early 1990s, from
where it was picked up by Projekt Runeberg at Linköping University. Ulrik Sandborg-Petersen picked
up the text in the mid-2000's, and has since then hand-corrected literally thousands of OCR-mistakes
and paragraphing issues.
Both the OT and the NT retain the original orthography.
