耶利米書 24
- 1 巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒把猶大王約雅敬的兒子耶哥尼雅，和猶大的眾領袖、工匠與鐵匠從耶路撒冷擄到巴比倫去。這事以後，耶和華使我看見在耶和華的殿前面擺著兩筐無花果。
- 2 一筐是極好的無花果，像初熟的無花果；另一筐是極壞的無花果，壞到不能吃。
- 3 於是耶和華問我：“耶利米啊，你看見甚麼？”我回答：“我看見無花果。那些好的無花果極好，壞的卻極壞，壞到不能吃。”
- 4 耶和華的話臨到我，說：
- 5 “耶和華以色列的 神這樣說：‘被擄去的猶大人，就是我打發離開這地方到迦勒底人之地去的，我必看他們如同這些好的無花果一樣，眷顧他們。
- 6 我必關注他們，眷顧他們，領他們歸回這地。我必建立他們，必不拆毀；我必栽植他們，必不拔除。
- 7 我必賜給他們一顆認識我的心，知道我就是耶和華；他們要作我的子民，我要親自作他們的 神，因為他們必一心歸向我。’”
- 8 “但耶和華這樣說：‘我怎樣處置那些壞到不能吃的壞無花果，我也必照樣對待猶大王西底家、他的眾領袖和耶路撒冷的餘民，不論是餘剩在這地的，或是住在埃及地的。
- 9 我必使他們成為地上萬國所驚恐、所討厭的；在我趕逐他們到的各地方，成為被人羞辱、譏笑、嘲弄、咒詛的對象。
- 10 我必打發刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫去攻擊他們，直到他們從我賜給他們和他們列祖的土地上都消滅了。’”
