耶利米哀歌 5
- 1 耶和華啊！求你記念我們所遭遇的！垂顧關注我們的恥辱。
- 2 我們的產業轉歸外人，我們的房屋歸給異族。
- 3 我們成為孤兒，沒有父親，我們的母親好像寡婦一樣。
- 4 我們所喝的水要用銀子買，我們的柴也付代價而得。
- 5 我們被人追趕，頸項帶上重軛；我們疲乏，得不著歇息。
- 6 我們臣服埃及和亞述，為要得著糧食充飢。
- 7 我們的先祖犯了罪，現在他們不在了；我們卻要擔負他們的罪孽。
- 8 奴僕轄制我們；沒有人救我們脫離他們的手。
- 9 因為曠野有刀劍的威脅，我們要冒生命的危險才得到糧食。
- 10 我們因飢餓而發燒，我們的皮膚好像火爐一般的熱。
- 11 婦女在錫安被污辱，處女在猶大的城鎮被強暴。
- 12 眾領袖被敵人吊起來；長老也不受人尊敬。
- 13 青年人推磨吃苦；孩童因背木柴而跌倒。
- 14 眾長老不再坐在城門口；青年人不再唱歌作樂。
- 15 我們心裡不再歡樂；我們的舞蹈變為哀哭。
- 16 冠冕從我們的頭上掉下來。我們有禍了；因為我們犯了罪。
- 17 為了這事，我們心裡愁煩；為了這事，我們的眼睛昏花；
- 18 因為錫安山荒涼，野狗就在山上到處出沒。
- 19 但耶和華啊，你永遠坐著為王；你的寶座代代長存。
- 20 你為甚麼永遠忘記我們？為甚麼長久離棄我們？
- 21 耶和華啊！除非你真的棄絕我們，你向我們所發的怒氣難收，不然，求你使我們歸向你，好使我們回轉過來；求你更新我們的日子，像古時一樣。
- 22 但是您完全拒絕了我們。 你對我們很生氣。
