何西阿書 7
- 1 “我醫治以色列的時候，以法蓮的罪孽，和撒瑪利亞的罪惡就顯露出來；因為他們行欺詐，小偷入屋偷竊，強盜在外搶劫。
- 2 他們心裡並未想到，我記得他們的一切罪惡。他們所作的一切，現在都圍繞他們，都在我面前。
- 3 他們以自己的惡行討王歡喜，用自己的虛謊叫領袖快樂。
- 4 他們全是犯姦淫的，像一個被烤餅的人燒熱的火爐，從摶麵，直到全團發酵的時候，烤餅的人暫停使火發旺。
- 5 在我們王喜慶的日子，領袖們因酒的烈性而生病，王就與褻慢人聯手。
- 6 他們陰謀埋伏的時候，心中燒得熱如火爐。他們整夜抑制怒氣，一到早晨，卻像發出火燄的火燃燒起來。
- 7 所有的人都熱如火爐，吞滅他們的官長。他們所有的君王都倒斃了，他們中間沒有一人向我呼求。
- 8 “以法蓮與外族混雜，以法蓮是沒有翻過的餅。
- 9 外族人吞吃了他的力量，他卻不知道；他頭上滿是白髮，他也不曉得。
- 10 雖然以色列的驕傲當面指證自己，他們卻不回轉歸向耶和華他們的 神，也不因此尋求他。
- 11 以法蓮好像一隻愚蠢無知的鴿子。他們向埃及求助，投奔亞述。
- 12 但他們去的時候，我要把我的網撒在他們身上；我要把他們如同空中的飛鳥打下來。我要按著他們會眾所聽見的，懲罰他們。
- 13 他們有禍了，因為他們離棄了我；他們遭毀滅，因為他們背叛了我。我雖然想救贖他們，他們卻對我說謊。
- 14 他們並沒有真心向我呼求，只是在床上哀慟罷了。他們為了五穀和新酒割傷自己，仍然悖逆我。
- 15 我雖然鍛煉他們的手臂，使它們有力，他們卻圖謀惡計攻擊我。
- 16 他們轉向巴力，成了不可靠的了。他們的領袖因自己舌頭上的狂傲倒在刀下，這在埃及地必成為被人譏笑的對象。”
