阿摩司书 3
- 1 以色列人哪！要听耶和华攻击你们的这些话，就是攻击他从埃及地领上来的以色列全家，说：
- 2 “地上万族中，我只拣选了你；因此，我必追讨你们的一切罪。”
- 3 二人如果没有约定，怎会同行呢？
- 4 狮子如果不是捕获猎物，怎会在林中吼叫？少壮狮子如果没有捕获什么，怎会在洞中咆哮呢？
- 5 如果没有饵，雀鸟怎会掉在地上的网罗中？网罗如果没有捕获雀鸟，怎会从地上翻起呢？
- 6 城中如果吹起号角，居民怎会不惊慌呢？灾祸如果临到某城，不是耶和华所降的吗？
- 7 如果主耶和华不先把计划向他的仆人众先知显示，他就不会作任何事。
- 8 狮子吼叫，谁不害怕；主耶和华宣告，谁敢不代他传话？
- 9 要向亚实突和埃及的堡垒宣告：“你们要在撒玛利亚山上聚集；观看城里极大的骚乱和城中的暴虐。”
- 10 “这些人不知道怎样行正直的事，只管在他们的堡垒中积聚暴行和欺压。”这是耶和华的宣告。
- 11 因此，主耶和华这样说：“敌人必围攻这地，使你们的势力倾覆，抢掠你们的堡垒。”
- 12 耶和华这样说：“牧人从狮子口中，只能夺回一双羊腿和一角耳朵；住在撒玛利亚的以色列人获救也是这样，他们只剩下一角床榻，半边褥子（“他们只剩下一角床塌，半边褥子”，这句原文意义不详，或译：“他们躺卧在华丽的床上，睡在铺上绣花毯子的榻上”）。
- 13 你们要听，要向雅各家作证。（这是主耶和华万军之 神的宣告。）
- 14 我追讨以色列的悖逆时，必要惩罚伯特利的祭坛；坛角必砍下，跌落在地。
- 15 我必毁坏冬天和夏天的别墅，用象牙装饰的房子必破烂，宏伟的楼宇必归于无有。”这是耶和华的宣告。
