以弗所书 5
- 1 因此，你们既然是蒙爱的儿女，就应当效法 神。
- 2 要凭着爱心行事，好像基督爱我们，为我们舍己，当作馨香的供品和祭物献给 神。
- 3 至于淫乱和任何污秽或贪心的事，在你们中间连提都不可提，才合圣徒的体统。
- 4 更不要讲淫秽和愚妄的话，或下流的笑话，这些都与你们不相称；却要说感谢的话。
- 5 因为你们确实知道，无论是淫乱的、污秽的或贪心的（贪心就是拜偶像），都得不到在基督和 神的国里的基业。
- 6 不要给别人用空言欺骗了你们，正因为这些事， 神的震怒必定临到那些悖逆的人。
- 7 所以，不要与他们同流合污。
- 8 你们从前是黑暗的，现今在主里却是光明的，行事为人就应当像光明的儿女。
- 9 光明所结的果子，就是一切良善、公义、诚实。
- 10 你们要察验什么是主所喜悦的。
- 11 不要参与暗昧无益的事，倒要把它揭露出来，
- 12 因为他们暗中所作的事，连提起来也是羞耻的。
- 13 凡被光揭露的，都是显而易见的。
- 14 因为一切显露出来的就是光，所以有话说：“睡了的人哪，醒过来，从死人中起来吧！基督必要照亮你。”
- 15 所以，你们行事为人要谨慎，不要像愚昧人，却要像聪明人。
- 16 要把握时机，因为这时代邪恶。
- 17 因此，不要作糊涂人，要明白什么是主的旨意。
- 18 不要醉酒，醉酒能使人放荡乱性，却要让圣灵充满。
- 19 应当用诗章、圣诗、灵歌，彼此呼应，口唱心和地赞美主。
- 20 凡事要奉我们主耶稣基督的名，常常感谢父 神，
- 21 还要存敬畏基督的心，彼此顺服。
- 22 你们作妻子的，要顺服自己的丈夫，好像顺服主一样，
- 23 因为丈夫是妻子的头，好像基督是教会的头；基督又是教会全体的救主。
- 24 教会怎样顺服基督，妻子也要照样凡事顺服丈夫。
- 25 你们作丈夫的，要爱妻子，好像基督爱教会，为教会舍己，
- 26 为的是要用水借着道把教会洗净，成为圣洁，
- 27 可以作荣耀的教会归给自己，什么污点皱纹等也没有，而是圣洁没有瑕疵的。
- 28 丈夫也应当这样爱妻子，好像爱自己的身体一样。爱妻子的，就是爱自己了。
- 29 从来没有人恨恶自己的身体，总是保养顾惜，好像基督对教会一样，
- 30 因为我们是他身上的肢体。
- 31 为了这缘故，人要离开父母，与妻子结合，二人成为一体。
- 32 这是极大的奥秘，但我是指着基督和教会说的。
- 33 无论怎样，你们各人都要爱自己的妻子，好像爱自己一样。妻子也应当敬重丈夫。
