- 1 維時、巴比倫王、巴拉但子米羅達巴拉但、聞希西家遘疾而愈、致書饋禮、
- 2 希西家因使者而悅、以其府庫之寶物、金銀、香品、寶膏、與武庫之器械、及所藏之寶物、悉示之、凡宮闈曁全國所有者、無不示之、
- 3 先知以賽亞詣希西家王曰、斯人何言、奚自而來、希西家曰、來自遠方、卽巴比倫也、
- 4 曰、彼於爾室、所見何物、希西家曰、凡我室中所有、彼悉觀之、我之寶藏、無不示之、
- 5 以賽亞曰、宜聽萬軍耶和華之言、
- 6 其日將至、爾室中所有者、與爾列祖至今所積者、必遷至巴比倫、不遺一物、耶和華言之矣、
- 7 爾所生諸子中、必有被虜、在巴比倫王宮爲宦豎、
- 8 希西家謂以賽亞曰、爾所傳耶和華之言善矣、又曰、蓋我尚存之日、必得綏安穩固、
