1 Samuel 1
- 1 以法蓮山地之拉瑪瑣非、有以法蓮人以利加拿者、乃蘇弗玄孫、託戶曾孫、以利戶孫、耶羅罕子也、
- 2 有二妻、一名哈拿、一名毘尼拿、毘尼拿有子、哈拿無子、
- 3 以利加拿歲由其邑上示羅、崇拜祭祀萬軍之耶和華、以利二子、何弗尼非尼哈在彼、爲耶和華祭司、
- 4 以利加拿獻祭之日、頒胙於妻毘尼拿、及其子女、
- 5 因愛哈拿、頒之維倍、然耶和華禁其產育、
- 6 其敵毘尼拿激之使憂、以耶和華禁其產育也、
- 7 歲往耶和華室時、其夫如是待之、毘尼拿仍激之、致其哭而不食、
- 8 其夫以利加拿謂之曰、哈拿、奚爲哭而不食、中心愀然哉、我之於爾、非愈於十子乎、
- 9 衆在示羅、飲食旣畢、哈拿興、時、祭司以利坐其座、在耶和華殿之橛旁、
- 10 哈拿中懷憂戚、禱於耶和華而痛哭、
- 11 許願曰、萬軍之耶和華歟、如爾垂顧婢苦、憶我弗忘、賜婢生男、則必奉之耶和華、至於畢生、薙髮之刀、不加其首、
- 12 哈拿在耶和華前、祈禱不輟、以利注目觀其口、
- 13 夫哈拿中心默語、脣動而聲不聞、以利以爲醉、
- 14 曰、爾醉將至何時、其戒爾酒、
- 15 哈拿曰、我主歟、非也、我乃憂心之婦、清酒醇醪不飲、惟於耶和華前傾我衷懷、
- 16 勿以婢爲惡女、我言迄今、由於寃抑憤激、
- 17 以利曰、爾可安然而歸、願以色列之上帝允爾所祈、
- 18 婦曰、願沾爾恩、遂往而食、不復有憂容、
- 19 舉家夙興、拜於耶和華前、乃返拉瑪、而歸其家、以利加拿與妻哈拿同室、耶和華垂念之、
- 20 哈拿懷姙、屆期生子、命名撒母耳、曰、我由耶和華而求之、
- 21 以利加拿與其全家、往獻歲祭於耶和華、而償其願、
- 22 惟哈拿不往、謂其夫曰、俟子斷乳、我將攜之覲耶和華、使恆居其所、
- 23 以利加拿曰、爾視爲善者則行之、待子斷乳可也、惟願耶和華踐其言、婦遂居家哺子、迨及斷乳、
- 24 乳旣斷、婦攜之往、亦牽牡牛三、麪一伊法、酒一革囊、至示羅、詣耶和華室、時子尚幼、
- 25 遂宰一牛、攜子詣以利、
- 26 曰、我主歟、我指爾生命以誓、昔在此立於爾側、禱於耶和華之婦、卽我也、
- 27 我爲此子而禱、耶和華允我所求、
- 28 我奉之耶和華、使其歸耶和華、至於畢生、遂在彼崇拜耶和華、
