Mixed Garden Salad


  • 1 head Iceberg lettuce
  • 3 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, halved and sliced
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 tin whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 2 rounds feta cheese, cubed
  • 2 cups croutons
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • garlic and herb sprinkle


  1. Add all the prepared vegetables together in a big salad bowl. Keep croutons separate.
  2. Add sugar with salt and pepper as well as spices on top and pour vinegar over to dissolve sugar.  Toss lightly to mix the salad thoroughly.  Let it stand for 10 minutes.  Add croutons just before serving salad.
